In 2002, Jamil did the single most out-of-character thing he'd ever done and nervously walked into his first salsa class at university. After years of social dancing and teaching, it was his passion for musicality in dance that finally led him into DJing. Jamil is the resident DJ at TNT Dance's Boston Music Room in London, has quickly established himself among the leading up-and-coming DJs on the scene. He has also guested at some of the top clubs in London including SOS, Pexava's Thursday Socials and Abacus, and has DJed across Europe, from France to Finland and from Germany to Greece. Jamil's passion as a DJ is to play rich, expressive music that gives the dancers the canvas on which create their dance and express themselves.
