The Grand Connaught Hotel is an independantly owned 3 Star hotel, 5 minutes from Wolverhampton city centre and the railway station, located on the main Tettenhall Road with convenient access from the motorway network.
Workshop areas at the hotel include the Cardinal suite, the Grand suite, the Pavilion function room, and the 'Starlite' function room.
On-site parking is available at no charge. There is also plenty of additional parking available at the Inland Revenue offices next door.

GETTING HERE
By Road
Wolverhampton is conveniently located close to the heart of the UK’s motorway network. The M6 and M6 Toll pass within 5 miles of the City for access from the North, Birmingham and Coventry, with nearby links to the M1, M42 and M40 for access from London and the south. The M5 is also close for access from Bristol, the South West and South Wales. The M54 to the north of the city provides access from Telford, Shrewsbury and North Wales. Visitors to Wolverhampton from the North, South and East Midlands should follow the signs to Birmingham and from there to Wolverhampton, just 30 minutes away.
By Rail
Wolverhampton train station is on the West Coast Main Line, enjoying express inter-city services from London Euston and Edinburgh via Manchester. Journey times from London are 2 hours 15 minutes. The city is also a key calling point for CrossCountry services between Bournemouth and Manchester via Birmingham New Street. London Midland operates direct local services connecting Wolverhampton with Walsall, Telford, Shrewsbury and Mid-Wales, Stoke and Crewe. There are services every 10 minutes during peak periods from Birmingham New Street, which can be reached from most destinations.

Midland Metro
The Midland Metro is the new state-of the art light rail system in the West Midlands. The first line of the service, Line One, provides a fast link between Wolverhampton and Snow Hill station in Birmingham City Centre via West Bromwich and Wednesbury with a journey time of less than 35 minutes.

By Air
Birmingham International airport is just 30 minutes away by direct train link and 45 minutes by road, served by national and international destinations. Manchester and Heathrow airports are also connected by express coach links to the city’s main bus station.




Accomodation is available on-site, in the Connaught Hotel. There are Single, Double, Twin, and Triple rooms available, all en-suite and with breakfast included.
Only 100m from the venue is West Park, considered to be one of the best, unspoilt examples of a Victorian park left in England. The park is about 43 acres in area (including its lake) and provides a beautifully landscaped green space just a few minutes walk away.
